How to re-package your Christmas Light string

Christmas is over, and you'd like to store your Tru-Tone lights neatly back in their attractive original packaging. Here's how to re-package your lights just like we do at the Tru-Tone factory:

STEP 1:

Begin by orienting the paperboard insert so that the holes are aligned as seen here.

STEP 2:

Starting with either end of the light string, and working from left to right, thread the clip of each socket through both holes with the bulbs pointed up, making sure to keep each loop of wire in place as you go.

STEP 3:

Continue to the lower row, working this time from right to left, and with the bulbs pointed downwards. 

STEP 4:

Place the loose ends of the light string in the center with the rest of the wiring, then slide the completed insert back into the package.
